How to Tell Your Brand Story in Video
May 5, 2025
One of the best ways to tell your company’s brand story is through video. Whether it’s about how your business serves customers, how you got started, or what goes into making your products or services, video grabs attention in a way nothing else can.
But what if you’re not sure which part of your story to focus on? Our experts at Turell Group can help you decide what would be best for you.
Who Are You Trying to Reach?
We start by learning as much as we can about your company, says Kelli Warner, who leads our video team. We’ll interview key people, understand your history and get to know what your business is all about. From there, we dive into the details. We’ll meet with you to discuss the purpose of the video.
“What story do you want to tell? Who are you trying to reach?” Kelli asks. “We help you think about it in terms of your audience. What will resonate with them the most?”
What Type of Story Should You Share?
Telling your story goes beyond just promoting products or services. We work to create an emotional connection with your audience and enhance your brand identity.
There are plenty of ways to share your story. Here are a few ideas:
- Share how your company started, your mission, values and vision. What inspired you to build or join the business?
- Focus on how your product or service has made a positive impact on a customer or the community.
- Offer a behind-the-scenes look at your company to build authenticity and trust.
No matter which direction you choose, it’s important to keep your video concise. This increases your chances of engaging your audience and holding their attention. Don’t forget to end with a call to action – invite viewers to take the next step, whether it’s visiting your store, making a purchase or checking out your website.
Our Team is With You
Creating a video involves many members of our team, from account managers to writers, researchers, videographers, interviewers and editors. We’ll be with you every step of the way, and you’ll have the chance to review our work as it progresses to make sure it aligns with your vision.
Once your video is ready, we can help you use digital ads and social media to drive viewers to your website and get them interested in your services.
It doesn’t end there. We’ll follow up to evaluate your success. “We want to create a relationship, not just be transactional,” Kelli says.
Building a Partnership
We’ve found that partnership with our clients is the best way to get results.
“Our clients want us to help them showcase their brand, product or service in the best possible light,” says Jacob Pace, our senior photographer. “We’re here to help them do just that.”
And there’s one more reason clients love working with us.
“We’re super fun people,” Kelli says. “We want to make it a good experience!”
