Dedicated to creating caring, responsible critical thinkers, Oak Hill School sought a brand refresh, along with marketing and communication recommendations that began with a full discovery process.
Through online surveys and focus groups, we gathered information from administrators, faculty, staff, parents and board members. We gauged parents’ perceptions of the school and their preferred communication channels. We learned about their strengths and challenges and evaluated internal and external communications and their effectiveness. We researched their competition and comparable schools. We also conducted a full assessment of their branding and marketing materials, along with their website, social channels and email. Using these key findings, we crafted a comprehensive SWOT (strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, threats) analysis, defined the school’s differentiators, provided a snapshot of likely families who would attend, and offered recommendations and strategies for strengthening their brand and improving communications, internally and externally.
In addition to research and discovery, consulting and communications, a brand refresh, advertising and collateral, photography and videography, we designed and manage their weekly emails and created a brand new website that’s both visually pleasing and information rich without being overwhelming.
