By now, you’re practically humming them in your sleep. Here’s our list of favorite Christmas tunes.
Alicia: My favorite soothing Christmas song is “Hallelujah” by Cloverton. I also love all of the classics like “Frosty The Snowman”, “Jingle Bells”, “Jingle Bell Rock” and “When the Saints Go Marching In,” especially when the kids sing them.
Cres: Anything sung live by carolers or a choir is amazing. When I was a kid I enjoyed playing “O Come All Ye Faithful” on the piano repeatedly until Santa threatened not to visit.
Dana: I love Christmas music, but I don’t think I can pick a favorite. I have multiple channels on Pandora to suit my mood – classics, jazz, instrumental, religious…
Jeneca: “Happy Christmas (War is Over)” (John Lennon), “Silent Night”, “Silver Bells”, “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas”, “I’ll be Home for Christmas” and “It’s Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas.”
Kelli: One of my favorite holiday songs is “Baby, It’s Cold Outside.” I love the classic duet by Bing Crosby and Doris Day, but the latest rendition (and cute video) by Idina Menzel and Michael Buble is fantastic!
Kurt: I’m very fond of holiday music and I can enjoy it any time of year. “Winter Wonderland” and “Silent Night” are a couple of favorite melodies. Linda Carpenter singing, “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas” is one I play every year for sure. But I think my #1 favorite would have to be “Do They Know It’s Christmas” by Band Aid, especially the extended version with all the celebrity spoken word bits in the midsection.
Lindsey: I can’t pick a favorite song. I love them all.
