It’s time to cozy up to your favorite holiday movie. Here are the ones we like best.

Alicia: I love Christmas Vacation and Elf. We watch Elf with the kids and Christmas Vacation with the grown-ups.

Cres: It’s a Wonderful Life. This is one of my yearlong favorite movies. I’ve been known to watch it in July.

Dana: It’s a Wonderful Life. I can relate to George Bailey’s feelings of unworthiness, only to be shown by God and His messengers that relationships are all that matter and His path has a purpose for our lives.

And, I love A Charlie Brown Christmas. Nice story about the true meaning and magic of Christmas. Plus, I get a kick out of the Peanuts characters and the music is contagious. In fact, it’s playing in my head right now.

Jeneca: A Christmas Carol (1984 w/ George Scott) – Love this version of Charles Dickens’ classic tale! Scary and Christmasy with a good lesson to be learned.

A Christmas Story – One of the most original and best holiday movies ever made.

The Polar Express – Beautiful. Magical. Wonderful.

A Charlie Brown Christmas – Love it. Never miss it.

The Grinch Who Stole Christmas – An all-time favorite.

National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation – It gets more funny ever year!

Home Alone – This is not one of my personal favorites, but it makes my son laugh out loud, and that alone makes it one of my favs.

Kelli: Every year, I have to take time to watch Miracle on 34th Street – the original, of course! There’s just something about the magic of believing in Santa and watching that magic prevail, even when society would tell us it’s only for kids. Love that movie!

Kurt: Not an easy question for me because I love so many movies. I’ll go with It’s a Wonderful Life because it was a favorite when I was younger and nothing has replaced it since. I’m a big fan of Frank Capra in general and this was his very best.

Lindsey: It’s a tough call for me. I always laugh when I watch Elf and I always quote A Christmas Story. I think if I were forced to choose though, I’d go with The Grinch Who Stole Christmas (the cartoon version). We used to watch it every Christmas at my Grandma’s and I love the little dog dressed as a reindeer.
